What to Expect at Our Gatherings

The ultimate goal as the church gathers weekly is to experience the love of God in a deep meaningful way. The vision is to rest in God, get rooted in his Word alongside others, and be renewed by the Spirit. The dress is casual and welcoming to individuals and families from all walks of life.

The Oaks follows a consistent rhythm in our Sunday gatherings. These rhythms are often referred to as liturgy. The rhythms of our Sunday Gatherings include: A call to worship the Lord, a confession of sin and sacred confession that Jesus is Lord, assurance of our faith, prayer and thanksgiving, a sermon from the Bible, communion for Christians, celebration and sending.

Church gatherings begin at 10:00 AM and usually last between 80-90 minutes. If you arrive early, feel free to grab a warm drink in the foyer and stop by the connect table if you’re new.

Individuals and families with children ranging from infants to fifth grade can check-in with the Oaks Kids ministry as early as 9:50 AM - 10:00 AM.
